The API Tools team’s mission is to delight developers by seamlessly integrating Twilio into the toolchains they are familiar with and reducing the effort and time it takes to debug, test and ship production software.
About the job:
Not every developer can get excited about tooling, but you're different. You believe that tools should conform to a developer's workflow and not the other way around. You want to help Twilio developers easily debug problems and thoroughly test their software so that they can focus on shipping. You're excited to use your experience as a developer to envision and build tooling for cloud APIs that have never been seen before. You want to help set the new bar for the kind of tooling that developers will come to expect from all API providers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a small, empowered team. Move fast - coordinate ships to production multiple times in 2 week sprints.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively across internal engineering teams.
- Build new services from scratch: from designing the architecture to deployment and operation.
- Work with product management to deliver industry best developer-facing tools and services.
- Ship client software across the major platforms (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux) and popular development environments (Xcode, Visual Studio, command line).
